The cabinet is constructed of marine grade aluminium for sonic performance, durability and long lasting reliability. Also available in an outdoor version featuring a tough exterior powder coat and IP65 rating for harsher environments.

Internally, the system features a proprietary James designed high excursion, slim 10" subwoofer with a honeycomb cone and Santoprene™ surround for reliability and the ability to withstand harsh environments. For outdoor and marine applications, please select the JAM-DF-10-M which features a tough exterior powder coat for harsher environments and is marine outdoor rating as IP65.

The JAM-DF-10 subwoofer has been tuned to perform from 27Hz to 150Hz. As this is an 8Ω high powered passive subwoofer, it is recommended to pair both the JAM-DF-10 and JAM-DF-10-M with the M1000 class D amplifier which provides 1000W of clean power and features a full DSP digital processor. You can power a total of two JAM-DF-10 subwoofers with a single M1000 amplifier.
