Description
Low voltage enclosures may be either surface mounted or flush mounted*in an electrical cupboard or equipment room. Both the number of enclosures and the types of components within them are customised to fit the size, lighting plan and design of a home.
Low voltage enclosures can be distributed throughout the home near the rooms they are controlling to provide maximum flexibility during installation of the low voltage wiring.

The LUT-ENC-L-LV14-230 35.6cm low voltage enclosure provides a compact housing for mounting one processor or one system interface and up to two wire landing boards (QS-WLB). The enclosure accepts 220V to 240V feed to power the panel, which is self contained in an enclosed area, thereby allowing access to only the low voltage connections when the enclosure cover is removed.
The LUT-ENC-L-LV21-230 53.3cm low voltage enclosure provides a compact housing for mounting up to two HomeWorks QS processors or up to two system interfaces and up to five wire landing boards (QS-WLB). The enclosure accepts 220V to 240V feed to power the panel, which is self contained in an enclosed area, thereby allowing access to only the low voltage connections when the enclosure cover is removed.

| Mounting | Enclosure may be surface mounted. Mount the enclosure so that line voltage wiring will be at least 1.8m / 6ft from audio or electronic equipment and wiring. L-LV21-230 may also be recess mounted fitting between standard 41cm / 16" on centre stud framing. Mount Enclosure using the following method.Mounting hardware is not provided: Surface Mount: Use keyholes with bolts sufficient for 45kg / 100lb load, 0.25" (M6) bolts recommended Recess Mount (LUT-ENC-L-LV21-230 only): Use screws sufficient for 45kg / 100lb through the corners of the enclosure. Mount enclosure fully into the stud bay with the back flush against the inner wall surface. Enclosure is 104mm / 4.09" deep past cover mounting tabs, (including pedestal. Enclosure cover dimensions are 546mm / 21.5" x 391mm / 15.39" Please Note: This equipment is air cooled. Mount in a location where there is at least 305mm / 12" of clearance in front of the enclosure. For Your Information: Power supply will 'hum' slightly and internal relays will click while in use. Mount in a location where such noise is acceptable |
