With high frame rate HDR-10 and HLG technology exceeding the capabilities of HDBaseT™, WyreStorm has implemented light compression technology with the RXV-70-4K-ARC receiver. It forms part of the new generation of signal extension technology and frees the 5.1 audio from an ARC compatible TV and sends it back to an H2XC matrix over HDBaseT™ an optical S/PDIF input is also present for sending digital audio signals. This HDBaseT™ receiver can be used with the WyreStorm WYR-MX-H2XC modular matrix switches.

The RXV-70-4K-ARC from WyreStorm can transmit multi channel digital audio from the TV location back to the matrix device for onward connection to an AVR or multi room amplifier. Audio Return is selectable between HDMI or S/PDIF optical input which allows for audio from a TV without ARC support to send audio to the transmitter or matrix.
This receiver can handle both current and future video content technologies. The highest possible bandwidth that currently exists according to the HDMI 2.0 specification can still be sent using HDBaseT™ and the latest in without loss compression technology from the matrix to this device.
The RXV-70-4K-ARC receives HDBT transmissions of 4K up to 70m / 230ft and 1080p up to 100m / 328ft with multi channel audio, control, Ethernet and PoH being also supported.
