The preconstruction boards are for indoor stud wall type installations whilst the masonry back boxes are suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.

JAM-QX806BEPB - pre construction bracket for JAM-QX806BEX

James' pre construction brackets are manufactured from galvanised steel and are easily installed within the stud bay to indicate where the plaster will be trimmed. This means that installers can simply fix the plaster up the lip edge of the pre construction board without risk of misalignment or misplacement of speaker locations or orientation when they are installed.

Flush mount boards install directly to the studs using MDF material, the same thickness as the plaster. Taping and mudding can be performed as if the MDF board were part of plaster board. The plastering (mudding) is done up to a lip on the board next to the cut out in which the speaker will be installed such that the grille is seamlessly flush with the wall.

This accessory makes the installation and integration process as easy as possible.

Custom masonry back boxes for the JAM-QX806BEX speaker are typically either 'direct through' or 'flange' mounted with a depth of 140mm to provide sufficient space for wiring and conduit hole locations. They can be used for installations in most surfaces (solid or plaster board), across indoor, outdoor and marine applications. They're custom made with custom conduit knockout locations for cable entry, in standard colours or custom RAL colours
