This pre built masonry back box JAM-OW63Q-MB from James Loudspeaker has been designed for the JAM-OW63Q 2 way 6" on wall speaker. It features a mud ring and would be typically used in a cinder block wall with a rock facade. The mud ring goes between the brick and rock. Mason boxes are designed to ensure the exact location and siting of the speaker. This back box offers conduits and variable depth flanges.

Mason boxes are designed to ensure the exact location and siting of the speaker.
The OW63Q-MB is finished in a marine black powder coating.
This back box offers 3/4" 19.05mm or conduit on each side of the back box and at the rear. Variable depth flanges are also available with depths from 1/2" / 12.7mm to 1.38" / 35.05m. These can be 1/8" or 3.18mm increments.
James' outdoor or marine speakers may be specified for installation in a stone or rock wall. To facilitate ease of installation and service if ever required, James produces custom masonry back boxes.
Since each wall installation can have uniquely different construction (all rock, cinder block/rock veneer, etc) and a uniquely different required appearance (oversize proud grille, etc) almost all pre built masonry boxes are designed to fit requirements.
