For environmental monitoring and management, Aten's EA1240 provides sensor probes that work in tandem with the power distribution units, which enable the user to obtain readings of temperate and humidity. Environmental conditions can be monitored with alarms set according to customisable minimum or maximum thresholds for temperature and humidity.

The sensor is an optional accessory.

Whilst, the Aten PDU without the environmental sensors, is a complete energy management of the data centre with the full use of Aten solutions is required, a sensor installation is of paramount importance.

This easy to use senor offers a temperature measurement range of 0°C to 40°C, delivering a measurement accuracy of +/- 1°C.

The compact design has a built in 3m cable.
