The Yamaha RX-A6A is a powerful 9.2 channel 8K AV receiver with an all new design and even more features. This multiroom and multi zone AV receiver has a built in DAB or FM tuner has streaming audio and internet tuner functionality through MusicCast. The output power is 2 x 150 Watts at 8 Ohms providing plenty of headroom for intense music or movie scenes. This receiver is equipped with the latest home cinema technology and the configuration and control of the A6A remains extremely simple.

Yamaha has built in its YPAO Multi Point Room Optimiser that measures the room using the included microphone and automatically calibrates all parameters for the best possible entertainment experience. Control and implementation of the RX-A6A in a multiroom environment is done using the Yamaha MusicCast app for iOS or Android. With the included IR remote control or web browser you can control the Yamaha even without your smartphone. This unit can also be controlled with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

This Yamaha RX-A6A features Cinema DSP, has 17 DSP programs, Dialog Level Adjustment, Virtual Presence Speaker, Silent Cinema, Virtual Cinema DSP, Virtual Surround Back Speakers and Dialogue Lift to take your entertainment experience to the next level. The amplifier also features HDR10+, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer, Dolby Surround, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Especially for gamers, Yamaha has equipped the receiver with Auto Low Latency Mode, Variable Refresh Rate, Quick Media Switching and Quick Frame Transport. The receiver passes through high res images up to 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz and features 4K upscaling, so you always enjoy your entertainment in the best possible image quality.

In addition to the excellent video properties, this receiver offers a premium Hi Fi quality by featuring Pure Direct to process and reproduce the analogue source signal with the highest purity. With this receiver, Yamaha also applied its Anti Resonance Technology (A.R.T.) Wedge. This is a pyramid shaped base in the centre of the base plate that effectively dampens both internal and external vibrations and resonances.

The RX-A6A features a high quality ESS SABRE ES9026PRO Ultra DAC plus ES9007S DAC with a maximum resolution of 32bit/384kHz PCM and DSD up to 11.2MHz. The receiver plays most digital file formats and for compressed audio streams or file formats, Yamaha has implemented its Compressed Music Enhancer. This receiver offers a high slew rate, that enables a fast and delicately detailed sound.
